City of Ypsilanti & Ypsilanti Township

Baker Street will first need to complete the Duplicate Billing Request Form and email that to YCUA at custserv@ycua.org.

Once that is complete, you need to call the Ypsilanti Community Utilities Authority (YCUA) at 734-484-4600 to set up your water service. Provide them with your address and the date you would like to start service. If you are setting up water service in your name and YCUA has not received the Duplicate Billing Request Form from Baker Street yet, kindly email us at team@bakerstreet.properties to let us know and we would be happy to take care of this.

Superior Township

Baker Street must first call the Superior Township Utilities Dept. to authorize the name change on the account.

Once that is complete, you can call them at 734-480-5500 to place the water utility in your name. If you are setting up water service in your name and Superior Township has not received authorization from Baker Street yet, kindly email us at team@bakerstreet.properties to let us know and we would be happy to take care of this.

Scio Township

You can call the Scio Township's Water and Sewer Services at 734-369-9350 to set up your water service. Provide them with your address and the date you would like to start service and they will set everything up for you.

Pittsfield Township

You can call the Pittsfield Township Utilities Department at 734-822-3105 to set up your water service. Provide them with your address and the date you would like to start service and they will set everything up for you.

Trash and Recycling

When you set up your water utilities, this generally includes the city’s trash and recycling services. There is no need to go through an additional process to set up these services, but you can always confirm when setting up water services. Chelsea and Superior Township do not include trash services within the water utility.

Superior Township currently uses Green For Life (GFL) for trash services. New Residents must contact GFL to begin service (844-464-3587). For more information, visit the Superior Township Website.

Chelsea tenants must purchase designated orange trash bags. They can purchase them at the city offices or at many locations around town. They are $25/roll. For more information, visit the City of Chelsea Website.
